Halfway between a bar and a 19th century laboratory, Dr. Stravinsky is the most countercultural venture on the Barcelona cocktail scene. Distancing itself from the constant fireworks spectacle and sumptuous experiences, we find a setting that is firmly committed to the Do it Yourself philosophy, as the spirits that are served are crafted in-house.
This unique bar uses classic techniques such as fat wash, low-temperature vacuum cooking, cold brew and maceration, among many others, to experiment with tastes and textures that are unparalleled in Barcelona.
The bar, originally part of an old grocery store, occupies the main section, which is accompanied by a room packed with jars of spices in formaldehyde, and features a second room with a circuit of test tubes with liquids that are constantly in motion.
