It was the year 1888 when the city of Lutsk, in the historical region of Volhynia, witnessed the birth of our protagonist, Grigori Alexandrovich Kholodovsky. After a difficult childhood and becoming an orphan at the age of ten, he was taken in by the Stravinsky family, who opened the doors to a whole new world.
During his youth, he became part of the Russian aristocracy and the late 19th-century cultural elite, which eventually led him, in 1910, to Paris. Settled in a creative home in Montparnasse, he met influential figures such as Chagall, Picasso, Proust, Misia Sert, and Coco Chanel, who encouraged him to open his first two perfume boutiques in Paris: Spleen Parfums.
Years later, he arrived in Barcelona and opened Spleen de Paris, a perfume shop located on Mirallers Street.
All the details of his life can be discovered at the Grigori Stravinsky Museum, a social club that tells the story of this remarkable man and serves as the exclusive antechamber—reserved for members only—of a very special cocktail bar. Stravinsky Parfumerie is a place where the olfactory and gustatory dimensions of a drink are given equal importance.
The menu? Sixteen cocktails that become forty-eight, as each one can be paired with three different perfumes, completely transforming the cocktail experience.
Le beau est toujours bizarre.
