Balius

From supplying screws, spanners and screwdrivers, to serving the best cocktails in Poblenou. It’s been years since the Balius hardware store, a hallmark of the neighbourhood, gave way to a cocktail bar that has kept the same name and has become a gathering point not only for those with the most refined palates, but also for a Jazz community that knows that there’s a different concert to take in every Sunday night.

Located on the corner of Carrer Pujades and Carrer Mariano Aguiló, Balius has kept the entire façade with the original signs, and also conserves various shop windows displaying a collection of bottles of all kinds. Inside it boasts a stylish bar, armchairs, sofas and a dim light bestowing an intimate character on the space.

The menu, in keeping with the venue, is dedicated to revisiting and resizing all the classic drinks. Times have changed. So have the people at Balius. And so have the cocktails. Cheers!
